Automatic Gate 1070
|
A set of wrought iron driveway gates, Restored, repaired and automated. The gates are painted with a special micaceous iron oxide paint, the same colour and type of paint as the Sydney Harbour Bridge. The gate motors are FAAC S700H. Electro hydraulic. (The best of the best) The motors are mounted below ground level so it’s very important to allow for drainage. The motors are rated for high usage areas so they are extremely reliable and quiet. If aesthetic (which it should always be about) and reliability are important then look no further this is the motor to use. Reasonably difficult to install but well worth the effort. |
The St John’s college gates before restoration and bringing back the design to original specifications. In the 1970’s someone added spears to the design. these weren't original so were removed. The gates have two pairs of photo electric beams. One set on the inside of the college grounds and the other fixed to the gate piers, this is to prevent the gates closing in on pedestrians and cars |
